Sioux Falls Ford is actively hiring a Commercial & Fleet Sales Consultant to join one of the highest-performing Ford dealerships in the country. Our team ranks in the Top 3% of Ford dealerships nationwide for sales volume, and we are continuing to grow our Commercial and Fleet department to better serve businesses across the region.
We are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships with business owners, contractors, municipalities, and commercial customers. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, contractors, municipalities, and fleet customers
Generate new commercial and fleet business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement
Assist commercial customers in selecting the right trucks, vans, and fleet solutions based on their business needs and budgets
Become knowledgeable in Ford commercial vehicles, upfit options, fleet programs, financing, leasing, and manufacturer incentives
Coordinate vehicle orders, specifications, and delivery timelines for commercial customers
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and walkarounds focused on productivity, capability, and business applications
Maintain consistent follow-up with customers to generate repeat and referral business
Work closely with sales managers, finance teams, and upfit partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Maintain accurate CRM records and customer follow-up activities
Achieve monthly sales goals and customer satisfaction objectives
Qualifications
Previous automotive sales, commercial sales, B2B sales, outside sales, account management, or fleet experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with strong prospecting and networking abilities
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Positive, coachable, and goal-oriented attitude
Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships long-term
Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
Willingness to learn Ford commercial vehicle products, financing options, and dealership processes
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
